JUMP10 RULES 


The Jump10 is a 5X5 street ball tournament organized under the following rules & Regulations:

1. Games are 2 X 12 minutes, and final games are 2 X 15 minutes. Except final game play 21 points each period, other games play 15 points each period. The first team which gets 15 points or gets 21 points to win a single game or which lead by end of game, the winner gets 1 point, if two teams draw by end of time, winning by which get 1 point first in overtime.

2. Wining by getting 2 points, if after 2 period, two teams get the same point, thus, need to play 2 minutes overtime. If two teams draw in overtime, winning by which get 1 point first.

3. Overtime 2min.

4. Each team is entitled to 1Time Outs (TO) (60 seconds)each period,not to use cumulative to the next period.

5. Each team has 30 seconds for time out in overtime.

6. 5 minutes for rest between 2 period in one game.

7. Clock is running throughout the games, except during free throws & player subs.

8. The game is lost by forfeit if the time is not ready to play 3min after called.

9. Each player is entitled to 3 foul plays. Player out by 4th foul play.In final game, each player is entitled to 4 foul plays player out by 5th foul play.

10. Each team is entitled to 18 seconds possession - 8 seconds to cross Half-Court.

10. Each team is entitled to 18 seconds possession - 8 seconds to cross Half-Court.When the team that has possession of the ball and their is a clock reset it should go to 12 seconds.

11. Zone defense is forbidden. In case of Zone defense, the first time get a warning, technical foul after warning, offense gets 1 free throw + possession. 

12. Jump ball in the middle when the game is overtime and suddendeath. There has no timeout during suddendeath, but in overtime there has a 30 seconds timeout.

13. Once team has done 4 fouls in each quarter, free throws are to be allowed to competing team on each additional foul = 2 free throws. In overtime, once team has done 2 fouls,free throws are to be allowed to competing team on each additional foul = 2 free throws.

14. Flagrant foul or Unsporting = 2 free throws + possession. Technical foul=1 free throws + possession

15. 2 Flagrant foul or technical foul in the same game = player is dismissed from the game.

16. If warnings are pronounced in different games, player will be dismissed from the tournament at 3rd warning. 

17. If warnings are pronounced in different games, team will be dismissed from the tournament at 3rd warning. 

18. Single voluntary hit = player is dismissed. Team can be dismissed upon referee’s judgment. 

19. When fighting in the game, fighter players will be dismissed from the game. If all the team fight, it will cancel team competition qualification directly. Does not provide any prize money to the team and the other team will win the game.
